Mills + Franks had the privilege of bringing to life a memorable wedding for our directors, Kristy and Dave, set in the stunning landscape of Marlborough, New Zealand.

Their vision was an intimate, family-oriented celebration with 70 loved ones in attendance. The couple chose Paripuma, a unique and personal venue on New Zealand's South Coast, surrounded by 20 acres of native gardens. With its exclusivity—hosting only 12 events annually—Paripuma provided an ideal DIY setting, adding a personal touch to each element of the day.

Guests gathered in Paripuma's Courtyard for a heartfelt ceremony, followed by drinks and canapés on the front lawn overlooking the estate. The celebration continued with a long lunch, meticulously prepared by the talented team at Beat Kitchen, who crafted a menu highlighting the best seasonal ingredients New Zealand has to offer.

As evening fell, the festivities turned up a notch with an afterparty led by DJ Jay Smalls. Adults and children alike enjoyed the evening’s energy, complete with garden games, family-friendly spaces, and a standout “Bougie Bun BBQ” supper featuring spit-roasted pig, crayfish rolls, and a dessert bar with a beautiful wedding cake and fresh brioche donuts.

For Kristy and Dave, creating an exceptional dining experience was at the heart of their day, showcasing New Zealand’s outstanding wines and local produce to bring a rich, authentic flavor to their celebration.
